  • 1 loaf of crusty, day-old bread (such as sourdough or French bread)
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh sage, chopped
  • 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 large eggs, beaten

Instructions
